Is there an age limit to serve?

We welcome people of all ages to come and serve with us; however, children under the age of 13 must have parental supervision at all times.

Where do volunteers meet on the day of the event?

The group meeting location on the morning of the event is subject to change from month  to month.  When you sign up to serve with us, you will receive an email with instructions and important details, including the group meeting location for that month.

Can I recommend a service project?

Yes, if you see a need, we want to hear about it!  All you have to do is fill out our project request form by clicking here.

Where can I get the "Be A Light" T-shirt?

At each Project Backyard event, we sell our t-shirts for $10.  You can also purchase a t-shirt online by clicking here.  All proceeds go towards future Project Backyard service projects.

How do I know which project I am assigned to?

When you sign up to serve with us, you will typically receive an email from us the week of the event with important instructions and details, including your project assignment.

Can I sign up a group?

Yes, on our sign up form there is a section where you can sign up a group, so that everyone in your group does not have to sign up.  We only ask that you try to confirm the number of people in your group before you sign up.
